Enabling Environment

The biggest barrier social entrepreneurs face to scaling their impact is the environment in which they operate.

Catalyst 2030 is focusing on three key areas to create an enabling environment for a social economy: Government, Private and Funding sectors.

• We are developing a global campaign alongside our chapters, advocating at all levels of governance to ensure social entrepreneurs are represented at the decision-making table.
• We aim to create a new market system which values mission and people over (purely) profit.
• By working as an ‘honest broker’ we aim to harness the power of financing and funding systems to keep pace with the urgency of global social and environmental challenges.

Chapter Development

Our Chapter development plans are ambitious, as we look to facilitate local leadership with the creation of 100 chapters over the next three years, especially in the global south.

Beyond scaling our Chapters, this partnership will also facilitate the capacity building of local social innovators and their organisations.

We want to build Chapter infrastructure to help to guide members and accelerate their impact.

Together we can support chapters who develop bottom-up approaches to systems change.

Collaborations

Each year Catalyst 2030 supports the incubation of new collaborations. More than 26 new collaborations sought our support in 2022.

We have an ambitious goal of supporting 100 new collaborations over the next three year.

A partnership with Catalyst 2030 will help us incubate 55 global collaborations working to shift the needle, such as Catalyst Market and it will enable us to facilitate 45 local innovators to innovate, create and test local solutions.

Your support will help us to develop a digital deal flow platform for collaborations to be connected and matched with members, who can provide resources and expertise, to help social entrepreneurs achieve their mission and create greater impact.

Systems Learning

Core to the Catalyst 2030 mission is to stimulate a learning ecosystem by and for social entrepreneurs.

We have plans to expand and further develop our Catalyst Academy, Learning Series and Social Change Innovators.

We are committed to undertake further research, evaluation and dissemination of best practice guidelines across the Social Enterprise landscape. We are always seeking funders interested in supporting our research work.
